Zebel is a Bay Area based preconstruction platform used by general contractors and developers to build conceptual and detailed estimates, manage bid packages, and carry one budget from the first budget to final bid without leaving the system. Zebel is used by general contractors and developers including Amazon, Irvine Company, Camden Property Trust and UrbanCore Construction. Founded in 2019 by Hamid Hajian, a civil engineer and former preconstruction manager, Zebel has been used to create more than $55 billion in estimates across more than 2,000 projects and more than 100 companies.
Learn more at zebel.ioHamid Hajian is the Founder and CEO of Zebel, a cloud-based preconstruction platform designed to replace spreadsheet chaos with modern estimating intelligence. A civil engineer and former preconstruction manager with 15 years of industry experience, Hamid practically grew up on jobsites learning the trade in his family's real estate development business. His career spans retail, infrastructure, and massive multifamily developments, previously managing preconstruction at Western National Group and leading technology adoption at EnTech Engineering in New York City.
Tired of hitting technical ceilings with complex spreadsheets, Hamid bootstrapped Zebel from the ground up as an immigrant entrepreneur. Today, Zebel serves leading general contractors and developers across North America (including major enterprises like Amazon and the Irvine Company), centralizing historical project data.
Hamid holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Shiraz University, a Master of Science in Construction Management and an Engineer degree in Construction Information Technology from the University of Southern California (USC), and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
